While it may seem complicated, the icon you choose simply depends on who you are and which resource you are trying to access. Because you may have accounts with multiple Identity Providers (IdPs), it is important to know which ones are accepted by each resource.
While it may seem complicated, the icon you choose simply depends on who you are and which resource you are trying to access. Because you may have accounts with multiple Identity Providers (IdPs), it is important to know which ones are accepted by each resource.
For example:
Workday: This resource accepts logins from multiple IdPs, including SIL Staff, SIL Partners, Wycliffe Staff, and Wycliffe Partners. If you have both an SIL and a Wycliffe account, you can use either one; you will reach the same destination with the same security access regardless of the tile you choose.
SIL Google: Unlike Workday, this resource only accepts the SIL Staff tile. You will not see other options when logging in.
SIL Gateway: This resource is available to members from various organizations, so you should select the tile that matches your primary affiliation.
Note on Passwords: When you update your password for a specific tile/IdP, that new password applies to all applications that use that same tile.
